In just two hours, volunteers from several local Rotary clubs rolled up their sleeves, sanded, drilled, and assembled a remarkable 38 complete bed frames — exceeding our target of 33. Each bed will soon be delivered with a mattress, bedding, and pillow, giving children who have never had a bed of their own a safe and comfortable place to sleep.
The project embodied Rotary’s spirit of “Service Above Self” — bringing together people of action to meet real needs in our community. Laughter, teamwork, and a shared purpose filled the air as Rotarians worked side-by-side with SHP leaders to turn stacks of lumber into tangible hope.
