On Friday evening, volunteers from the Round Rock Sunrise Rotary Club came together with the nonprofit organization Just Because to help spread holiday cheer to local families.
The partnership took place at Hernandez Middle School, where Rotary members assisted in collecting Christmas parcels that would soon bring hope and joy to many households.
The atmosphere was filled with purpose and gratitude as volunteers worked side by side, organizing and preparing parcels filled with essential items and holiday gifts. Each parcel represented more than just material support — it was a message to families that their community cares.
The following morning, families arrived to collect their Christmas parcels, many greeted with smiles, relief, and appreciation. For parents and caregivers, these parcels helped ease the financial stress of the holiday season, while ensuring their children could still experience the joy of Christmas.
Round Rock Sunrise Rotary is proud to support organizations like Just Because, whose mission is to help families in need “just because it’s the right thing to do.” This collaboration reflects Rotary’s ongoing commitment to service, compassion, and strengthening our local community.
